Liam McGuire is the researcher behind the Ten Cities Project. He completed his Masters degree at the University of British Columbia's Geography Department, where his Ten Cities project formed the basis for his graduate thesis.

He currently is based in Ottawa, and has experience in urban geographical research, program evaluation and non-profit management. His interest in studying cities is driven by a long-time love of the city landscape and a desire to support equitable urban policy solutions.
